Our Honor Code and Pledge

“I will not lie, cheat or steal, nor tolerate anyone who does."

Our honor code and pledge sets the highest moral and ethical standards for our students and faculty. At the fall orientation, students are asked to sign a banner acknowledging the honor code. All students are required to comply with the honor code and pledge.

All assignments, including homework, papers, quizzes, and tests must have the following signed pledge:

"I pledge that I have neither given nor received unauthorized help during this assignment;
nor observed any other student violating the honor code.”

It’s nice to find a school where cheating isn’t tolerated. At Fairfax Christian School they don’t even need lockers because the students who attend the school are honest, hard working and moral.

Twelve years at FCS provided a great foundation for me through a solid education in a safe environment. The Thoburns held us to high standards, expected self–discipline, and provided thoughtful guidance. I have fond memories of the teachers, staff and classmates.
