Collecting Personal Data
The personal data collected varies depending on the stakeholder's relationship with the school. This may include contact details and verification, academic and professional information and banking and financial details. Where necessary, the school may need to process personal data which is very sensitive, including academic and health–related details. In some circumstances, we may need to share this information with third parties such as health professionals, a court or other regulatory bodies. When sensitive personal data is volunteered as a condition of enrollment, the stakeholder agrees to allow the school to process the personal data.
Basis To Process Personal Data
Personal Data is used for the performance of a contract or to take steps before entering into a contract. Personal Data is used for the purposes of legitimate interests of the school. To determine this, the school shall consider a number of factors, such as: what was the intent at the time the personal data was provided, what were the expectations for the processing of the data, the nature of the data and the impact of the processing of the data.
Collection of Stakeholder Personal Data
When a third party provides personal data to the school relating to students and their family members, the third party must confirm that they are allowed to do so, ensure that those individuals understand how their data will be used by the school, and have the authority to disclose the personal data. All data disclosed must be complete, accurate and up to date.
