At The Fairfax Christian School, our fine arts programs include music, visual arts and theater. Students engage their creativity through performance and exhibition. The fine arts are integrated throughout our curriculum. In kindergarten, art, music and drama are interwoven into the academic subjects. As students mature, the fine arts are taught as individual subjects and in clubs, and we also offer private lessons with our talented faculty who strive to bring out each student’s unique gifts.
High School students can take a wide variety of fine arts classes. They can play instruments and sing, learn photography and graphic design, or take the Advanced Placement (AP) level fine arts classes. Our Cardinals Fife and Drum Corps, Music Ensemble and A Cappella Choir give students a chance to perform at community events in the Washington, D.C., area.
