US Senator Rand Paul to Deliver Keynote at the Fairfax Christian School’s 2026 Commencement
DULLES, Va. — May 14, 2026 — The Fairfax Christian School is excited to announce that its 2026 Graduation Ceremony will take place on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at 7:00 pm. This year's ceremony marks a major milestone for a class that has excelled in every arena, from the classroom to the athletic field.
The Class of 2026 has set a high standard, with students earning admission and scholarships at many of the nation’s top-ranked institutions including the University of Chicago, University of Notre Dame; Colby College; University of California, Davis; Spelman College; Rutgers University; Virginia Tech; Fordham University; Temple University; George Mason University; Roanoke College; Virginia Commonwealth University; Towson University; Shippensburg University; Kean University; the University of Virginia’s College at Wise; Waynesburg University; and Clarion University. Beyond these academic placements, the school is proud to celebrate eight NCAA scholarships and one NAIA scholarship awarded to our graduating seniors, highlighting their dedication to collegiate-level athletics.
Keynote Address by Senator Rand Paul
We are honored to host U.S. Senator Rand Paul as this year's keynote speaker. Senator Paul has served in the United States Senate since 2011 and is a well-known advocate for constitutional liberties and fiscal responsibility. His message is expected to inspire our graduates as they transition from students to leaders, focusing on lives of purpose and service.

They have exceeded expectations," said Jo Thoburn, president of the Fairfax Christian School. “Watching them secure eight NCAA scholarships while getting into some of the best universities in the country has been inspiring.
